Volunteer Services
In addition to client services, Sara has also provided the following international support and local volunteer support:
- For nine consecutive years (2002-2011), Sara served with a team of volunteers for three weeks each winter to manage the detailed scheduling process for over 650 international leaders who attended an annual event in Washington, D.C. She also developed detailed work-flow documentation, intranet filing systems for reusable documentation and coached other team members. These efforts included the need for sensitive attention to detail and an aptitude for project management while dealing with fast-moving, many-faceted, ever-changing detailed pieces of information.
- While serving on the board and as interim Chairperson of the Board of Directors for Northwest Family Life, Sara facilitated the sale of an office building, and served the board and employees in many other capacities.
- For six years, Sara served on a non-profit committee and led the annual fundraisers, including special dessert events, banquets, and auctions.
- She has also provided extensive resume and interview-preparation coaching services to encourage those who are in a job-search process.
- Currently, Sara is on an advisory board for a non-profit in Seattle, Bridge Care Center, that serves unhoused neighbors in Seattle with clothing and resources to meet their physical, emotional, spiritual, and community needs.
